I have been unable to get the next edition of the Proverbs 18:10 Podcast produced for many weeks. This is for a combination of reasons. 1. I have been very low for quite a while and unable to concentrate on the podcast. 2. My laptop has run out of space, and I cannot get OBC or OpenShot to work properly. Yet I do not have the money for a new laptop, as I am saving up to pay for US citizenship ($725, since you asked). My low paid job means that I cannot get the money quickly, especially as I have a number of debts to retire.
I am now ready to produce a new episode emotionally. But I do not have the finance to sort out the laptop issue, so I would just ask for your prayer on this matter please. There are many reasons why citizenship is my big spend priority; I will need to travel to the UK in late 2023, but I would not be allowed back into the US afterwards, as I do not have, and will not get, the v@((1ne.
If anyone feels able to help me out of this vicious circle, I would praise God for it.
Yours
Paul
At last I have got my act together and got podcasting going again.
The Paul Taylor Show is a podcast with a biblical starting point. I discuss issues of politics, culture, apologetics, creation, and theology - together with general rants about this or that!
Please copy and paste the podcast's RSS link from below into your podcasting app. You can copy and paste it into iTunes, though iTunes will not allow me to register it with them.
What do people think about dinosaurs? Is it time to think the unthinkable.
The evolutionary narrative has moved on rapidly. It is not only the timescale of dinosaurs, on which creationists and evolutionists differ - it is also their appearance. Creationists are stuck using illustrations based on evolutionary models from the 1970s. We must also recognize anomalies such as the fact that most fossil specimens are very incomplete. In short, I think it is time that creationists recognize that the beasts under discussion bear no relation to the evolutionary view of dinosaurs. Isn't it time we started saying that dinosaurs, as described by contemporary evolutionists, did not exist. We should stop calling them dinosaurs, and return to the pre-Owen scientific terminology; let's return to calling them dragons.
I woke up pretty early this morning- about 6 - but I sat and read until 9. Then my plan was to go get a coffee from my favorite coffee shed and take it down to the City Beach and have a stroll. But I remembered I was part way through a difficult portion of designing my new website. So I got on with that. I had a brief stop for breakfast at 2pm, then got back to work. I had to redo a huge amount when I discovered that the WordPress theme I was using didn't do what I wanted it to.
So I got to the coffee shed at 5:50pm*. The little barista girl was clearing up for a 6pm close. But she sweetly served me anyway, and chatted away in a bubbly manner about all sorts of stuff mysterious to this 62-year-old. I gave her a good tip, as much for her pleasantness as for the coffee. Then I made my way for my morning stroll - which was now an evening stroll - by the Pend D'Oreille Lake.
God is good. The scenery around this little town where I live is stunning. Just, please God, let my website attract the ...
